This is an example of a "Professional to Professional" letter of recommendation. I had worked successfully with Gary Whitten on many occasions, and I asked him if he would write a description of my capabilities in a letter that I could use to generate support for my invention projects and possibly use to get new consulting clients. This letter is the result of that request. It is specific about our business relationship and about the way he views my professional capabilities, ethics, and knowledge. This type of letter is very helpful to show to new business associates when first trying to establish a rapport with them. It is also valuable to use when raising capital for an invention. It lets people know you are capable, honest and dedicated to your work. This is both a character reference and a work reference.
